Terms of Service
Last updated October 17, 2026
Logbook Check is a service of Bay Area Beechcraft, operated by MSXpert LLC (“we”, “us”). By uploading records or buying a report, you agree to these terms.
1. What you get
You upload an aircraft’s logbooks and FAA records. Our software, including AI models, reads every page and writes a report that cites the page each finding came from.
2. What a report is not
A report is a reading of the records you provide. It is not an inspection, an airworthiness determination, an AD compliance audit, or a substitute for a prebuy inspection by an A&P or IA. Software misreads dates, hours and part numbers and can miss pages, and it can only report what is in the records you upload. Check anything you rely on against the page the report cites. Decisions to buy, fly or maintain an aircraft are yours.
3. Price and payment
A report costs $99 for a single-engine aircraft and $129 for a twin, paid once at checkout. Payments are processed by Stripe; we never see or store your full card number. The price shown at checkout is the price you pay.
An IA review of a finished report costs $299 for a single-engine aircraft and $349 for a twin. Allow 1–3 days for the IA’s notes and comments, sent to the email address you give when you buy it.
4. Refunds
We decide refunds case by case. If your report has errors or is otherwise unusable as described, email us within 30 days of purchase. We will review it and refund you, or rerun the report if you prefer.
5. Your uploads
You confirm that you have the right to share the records you upload: you own the aircraft, or the owner has given you the records to review. You keep ownership of your files. You allow us to store and process them to produce your report and to show it to people who have its link.
6. Share links
Each report has a private link. Anyone who has the link can see the report and download the records it was made from. Share it only with people you want to see them. Email us and we will turn off a link.
7. Acceptable use
Do not upload records you have no right to share, upload unlawful content, or attack or overload the service. We may refuse or remove a report that breaks these rules.
8. No warranty
The service and its reports are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, including the cost of an aircraft purchase, repairs or lost profits. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the report the claim concerns.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Disputes are brought in the state or federal courts in Sheridan County, Wyoming.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version; the version in effect when you bought a report applies to that report.
